Labourer dies, two others hospitalized after slipping into well in Bijbehara | KNO

Bijbehara, June 14 (KNO): A labourer died and two others were hospitalized after they accidentally fell into the well during construction in Khiram area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday afternoon, an official said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three labourers were injured followed by asphyxiation after they accidentally fell into an under construction well at Durpora, Khiram in the afternoon. He identified the trio as Sabzar Ahmad Lone and Shahid Ahmad Lone, sons of Abdul Rahman Lone, and Muzaffar Ahmad Lone, son of Sanaullah Lone, all residents of Durpora Khiram. While Sabzar died at PHC Srigufwara and the other two injured have been shifted GMC Anantnag for further treatment,” the official said. "Trio might have slipped into the well and suffered asphyxiation in the depth" official added. Tehsildar Srigufwara, Bashir Ahmad Lone also confirmed the incident—(KNO)
